Our Royal Patron
We are very proud that HRH The Princess Royal has been our Royal Patron since 2016, when Her Royal Highness agreed to take on that role for our predecessor body, Scots In Great War London.
At the time, The Princess Royal championed our initiative to bring together Scottish organisations in London to commemorate the end of World War I, providing the foreword to our commemorative book, and speaking at its launch in June 2018 where Her Royal Highness met and encouraged all the member organisations.
At our closing event in 2019 The Princess spoke warmly of our achievements, praised the work of our member organisations’ many volunteers, and encouraged us to continue to work together: promoting Scottish culture and heritage, co-ordinating and communicating events, supporting Scottish charities in the capital, and contributing to the life of the city where we live.
Now reborn as Scots in London, we are doing just that. We are extremely grateful that Her Royal Highness has agreed to remain the Royal Patron for our new venture.
